Matlahuayl State Reserve
I'm still tripping over the fact that La Jolla Cove was renamed to Matlahuayl State Reserve without me knowing about it. When it comes to ocean news, I'm usually the first to know....but regardless...."Matlahuayl" means "Place of the Caves". It's from the language of the natives that previously inhabited La Jolla....and it appears the natives, ie the SEA LIONS, are taking over again.
