Woodroom Talent Show 2.0 [flyer]

Practice Footage from Last Night [video]

i’ll making a few more similar videos from my locking practices.  i’ll be primarily dancing to unorthodox locking music…ie stuff out of the brassy funk we usually dance to.  i’ll still be doing that though…but i really enjoy pushing my creativity outside its comfort zones.

Locking Reel [video]

finally!  i have a locking reel!  just in time, because i am the new Locking teacher @ The Origin.  the classes are thursdays @ 6pm.  come support!

mini-update

sorry i haven't been able to post about my art because i haven't time to do anything new due to finals.  i will get back on the grind come this saturday.

first update....SATURDAY IS SOUL FUNKTION's FIRST PERFORMANCE.

also....hipstamatic fans....i am planning to go out to the wilderness next week armed with items that can showcase what the app can do when armed with case mods, extra lenses, and accessories....so this is what i'm planning to bring...

- mobile fisheye lens
- holga fisheye lens [its huge]
- holga/diana soft surround filters [if i can find them]
- exterior light source
- flip camera to show how it works
- DIY macro lens

i mainly have been accessorizing for this app because natural lighting, while its the best kind, isn't really well captured on any mobile phone.  and the default lens leaves more to be desired when you want shots of big things that are really close to you.

Hoover High v5 Battle [video]

i stopped by a jam friday night for 5 minutes.  right when i got there, i found out i was battling.  not my best stuff, but i'll put it up anyway so i can look back on this in the future:
