A big thank you to Cara and Jenna for being great models/photographers for the black friday portrait shoot I organized. They were naturals with their looks and poses. I can't wait to get some of these printed in the darkroom!
I've been swimming with a roll of black and white film in my camera. Here are a few images from my latest roll....I will be printing a few of these in the darkroom later this month!
I spent the past week in Boston. I'm not really the type of person who gets "wanderlust", I'm more the type of person who takes advantage of what I have when I have it. Hence why I am always in the ocean in San Diego...in Boston, I'll explore the city on foot and see what it has to offer. Here are the photos I've shot with my phone while in the city. I didn't photograph everything, because I believe some moments are best saved in your mind's memory rather than your phone's.
I had two things I needed to test before using them for "important" things....
-A new film type
-A device that helps me with multiple exposures
The photos came out great....except for a few where there wasn't enough light....
Now that it is mid-September, perhaps its a good time to say goodbye to summer?
I think not!
Thankfully, living in San Diego, we are blessed with extended summers. Water temperatures are higher than average this time of year. It's not like that will stop me for going out in the ocean though. The Nikonos has many more beach trips to go for the rest of the year.
Don't ask me why the photos came out this dark-orange shade...perhaps its from when the film was cooking in the sun when I left my camera in the car?
